THE MESSIAHSHIP OF YESHUA

From the beginning, the Tenach (Hebrew Scriptures) promised a Messiah (Genesis 3:15), a Savior for both Jews
and Gentiles (Isaiah 49:6). The Tenach reveals over 65 distinctives of the Messiah. He would be from the
tribe of Judah (Micah 5:2), the family of David (Jeremiah 23:5-6), and born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14). He
would suffer and die (Isaiah 53:19) as an atoning sacrifice prior to the destruction of the Temple by the
Romans in CE 70 (Daniel 9:24-26). He would be resurrected (Psalm 16:10).

The Brit Chadasha (New Testament) reveals Yeshua's fulfillment of prophecy. He WAS from the tribe of Judah
(Matthew 1:1-2), the family of David (Matthew 1:1), and born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23). He DID suffer and
die (Matthew 27:32-56) as an atoning sacrifice prior to the destruction of the Temple in CE 70. He WAS
resurrected, thus providing salvation for Jew and Gentile (Matthew 28:1-20).

Messiah Yeshua's gift of salvation is free to those who repent of their sins, place their faith in His
sacrifice, and believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Prayer of Commitment

Dear Father, I now confess myself to have broken your law and to have sinned before you. I acknowledge my
sin and ask You to forgive me. I ask Yeshua (Jesus) to enter my life and be my Messiah, Savior, and Lord.
From this moment forward, I believe Yeshua is the Messiah, and that He died on the tree for me. I believe
He rose from the dead and is living now, and I place my trust in Him. By faith in Him, I am now born again,
given eternal life, and invite your Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to take up residence within. Please help me
now to continue to trust You, live for You, and grow in my relationship with You. Amen.
